Frequently Asked Questions
What will you ask me when I call LA Jewish Lawyer?
We will ask you for your contact information (phone number and e-mail address), the legal matter with which you would like help, some of the basic facts about your issue (such as the details of the car accident or your employment) and if you already have an attorney. If you already have an attorney please tell us when you call or contact us.
Is the consultation with the attorney free?
One of our network of attorneys will call you once you have provided your information to us. That initial phone call is free. The attorney will tell you if you have a case that is worth litigating. If it is, s/he will arrange a time and date to meet with you. Any fees after the initial phone call will need to be negotiated between you and the attorney.
What will the attorney charge me?
Attorneys have a couple of different methods of charging a client. Some attorneys in our network will work on what is called a “contingency fee” basis. A contingency fee is when an attorney will take a percentage of the award or settlement received by the client. In this case, if the attorney does not get an award or settlement for you then you owe the attorney nothing at all. Other attorneys will offer a fee per hour or a range of fees per hour.
LA Jewish Lawyer does not advertise the fees that our network of attorneys offer. Please speak with the attorney about all financial arrangements between you and him/her.
How much does it cost to contact LA Jewish Lawyer?
All communications between you and LA Jewish Lawyer are entirely free. LA Jewish Lawyer is an advertising company that advertises for independent attorneys in our network. We will not charge you to speak with our representative.
I am not sure that I should file a lawsuit. Can you tell me if I have a case?
Only a lawyer is allowed to tell you if you have a case given the facts, law and other issues that concern your legal matter. Our spokesperson is not an attorney and cannot give you legal advice, but one of our network of attorneys will be in touch with you and can tell you if you have a case or not. Calling LA Jewish Lawyer is a good way of determining if you should proceed with your case at absolutely no cost to you.
Is my call to LA Jewish Lawyer confidential?
Yes. Any information that you give to LA Jewish Lawyer will only be communicated to the attorney that we refer to you. If you wish for your information to remain confidential from your employer, please call us using your own personal phone. It may be best if you call us while you are away from the office or on a break.
Do you offer services in Spanish?
Yes. Please go to Abogado Judio LA to read about our services in Spanish. In addition, we have representatives who will be able to speak with you in Spanish.
Where is LA Jewish Lawyer located?
LA Jewish Lawyer is located in Los Angeles, California. Please contact us if you have a legal matter in any of the jurisdictions in California and we will be able to tell you if we have an attorney that will be able to help you with your issue.
