Will E-mails Derail Hillary?

With the current email scandal brewing involving Hillary Clinton, it appears that the Democrats are hedging their bets. Vice President Joe Biden is now considering entering the race. Recent polls see him with a 53% positive rating among Democratic voters. Will this be enough to overtake Hillary who has a machine established for her and has the dual luxuries of time and money on her side? Are the Democrats acknowledging that Hillary has a negative trust perception among the public, including many Democrats? If this is true with her own party faithful, how will she fair when dealing with Republicans, Independents and undecided voters?

Trust is a major issue for most voters. Will their President act in a manner that will exude trust, ethics and stability when the chips are down? Will they try to sleaze by and skirt the law and trust issues? We have the Clinton machine (and Bill Clinton) who is a major fundraiser for the next election. If Hillary does not get the nomination, will he and the machine sit out the election and allow the Republicans to take the White House? If this occurs, will the Republicans then be able to pack the Supreme Court and retard judicial activism and erode protections for people for the next 20 years?  Remember, Supreme Court appointments are for the life of the judge. They cannot be voted out of office. Do we want to overturn abortion for women, Obamacare, right to privacy and a host of other issues? One must indeed be very circumspect over the election issues. There is much at stake in this next election.

We do not have gun boat diplomacy and we cannot impose our will on the rest of the world. We must with the world and not dictate to it. The front runner of the Republican Party at the present time seems strong on hyperbole and light on policy. It will be interesting how these various issues play out in the coming months.
